Project One (and a Half)
Olympic Pictograms

Another quick project to get us started this semester. The olympic pictograms from certain years of the olympics have become iconic in the canon of design history. For this assignment you will be expanding on some of these classic examples of design for new sports which could be added to the olympics in the future.

Process Book (Digital PDF) (Keep file size under 150 MB) (This can be a combined process book)

Printed 11x17 Showing your new pictograms in the context of the existing set you chose

Digital AI document at the same size with all final symbols properly finalized.

Refine and expand based on the feedback on all your pictograms. (5) additional sketches or refinements for each. Pencil and paper.
